Cleaning is not undertaken until the unit has been logged off and switched off by the client’s personnel. The unit must be disconnect from its power supply.
The initial case surface is vacuumed, removing areas of ingrained dust and dirt.
An earthing bond is made from operative to the chassis of the CPU case using an earth strap. This will protect the machine from ESD.The cover is then removed.
The main processor motherboard, DIMM chips, power unit, cooling vent and internal surface areas are vacuumed and blown out. Dust is removed from boards and fans using our specialized solution and brushes.
The floppy disk and CD/DVD drives are blown out internally and externally. All other areas are cleaned as required before re-assembly and testing.
